These are the perfect summer drinks for 2018!

With rising temperatures, the drinks become sweeter, more colourful and quite simply more summery. We introduce you to the cult party drinks: Whether at elegant garden parties or spontaneous after work meetings – the perfect summer party drink is a must. In 2018 we are experiencing a drink revival, because this year the motto is: Modern reinterpretations of famous classics are awesome! We’ll show you how it works!

Bloody Mary

The most famous pepper cocktail is the Bloody Mary. The drink was first discovered almost 100 years ago in Paris. While at that time it consisted in equal parts of tomato juice and vodka, today it is refined with fresh pepper, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco and lime juice. This cult drink will definitely celebrate a revival in summer 2018 and become an innovative soft drink. The use of black pepper has been known for 4000 years. It is therefore no wonder that the cocktail industry is increasingly appreciating this spicy highlight. So let’s get down to it:

2 ice cubes, 4 cl vodka, 12 cl tomato juice, 2 cl lime juice, 2 dashes of Tabasco, 1 dash of Worcestershire sauce and 1 pinch of pepper and salt each. Use celery and slices of lime for garnishing.

Raspberry white wine slush

This is probably one of the simplest drinks to prepare. Already years ago the trend of slush cocktails arose. The popular combination of wine and semi-frozen ice cream quickly spread. That’s why wine slushies will remain one of the hottest party drinks of the summer in 2018, because they can be combined wonderfully with your favourite fruits. The reinterpretation of the wine spritzer offers the perfect variety and refreshes in its entirety.

100 g frozen raspberries, 4 ice cubes, 300 ml cold white wine, 2 tablespoons elderflower syrup, 1 tablespoon lime juice and 4 leaves mint to garnish. That’s it!

Grapefruit Mojito

Mojitos are the most refreshing drink of the summer. How to freshen them up? With grapefruit! Here the vodka or rum is filled with water and a part of the grapefruit is pressed into the liquid. Cut open the rest of the grapefruit and add it in pieces. Add sugar and mint as you like.
