Supreme x RIMOWA – these suitcases are the latest fashion accessory

A collaboration between coolness and quality: The streetwear label Supreme and RIMOWA launch a stylish luggage set. Find all the key facts and what you need to know here.

Frequent travelers have already been loving the hard-shell suitcases for a long time. First developed in 1937, they are well known for their quality and special look all over the world. The German label RIMOWA was originally founded in 1898 and initially created suitcases out of wood and leather, until only the resistant aluminium model was left behind by a a fire in the factory. The distinctive vertical grooves were added in 1950 and resemble the iconic construction of early commercial aircraft exteriors.

For the collaboration, Supreme and RIMOWA created different versions of the Topas Multiwheel in the sizes 45L and 82L. The red and black suitcases are wrapped with bold supreme branding round the main panels.  The equipment includes Multiwheel ball-bearing wheels, TSA-friendly combination locks and step-less telescopic handles.

This kind of quality and It-status has its prize: The suitcases are anything but cheap. The 45L size will retail for $1,600 USD and the 82L Multiwheel for $1,800 USD. Plus, they can also only be purchased at selected flagship stores in New York, LA, Paris, London, Hong Kong and Tokyo.
